Delete your MagdalaMatrimony account

This page explains how to delete your MagdalaMatrimony account, created in the MagdalaMatrimony app (Android and iOS) or on magdalamatrimony.com. It is the same account in both places, so deleting it once is enough.

In the MagdalaMatrimony app

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab and tap Account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Enter your password and tap Delete my account.

On the website

1. Sign in at magdalamatrimony.com.
2. Open Settings > Account.
3. In the Delete account box, enter your password and click Delete account.

Signed up with Google and never set a password? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page to set one first, or ask us by email as described below.

Can't or don't want to sign in?

Email hashdeveloop@gmail.com from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may reply to confirm the account is yours before we delete it.

What happens when you delete

• Your account is closed straight away: you are signed out on every device, you can no longer sign in, and your profile no longer appears in search, matches or to other members.
• Your account data (profile details, photos, interests, shortlists, chats, payment and package history, and any ID documents you uploaded for verification) is then kept on our systems, hidden, until it is permanently erased.
• To have everything permanently erased, email hashdeveloop@gmail.com and ask for permanent deletion. Permanent deletion removes your account record together with all of the data listed above, including your stored photos and documents, and cannot be undone.

Deleting only some of your data

You can also remove parts of your data without closing the account, while signed in:

• Remove your main photo or any photo in your Photo Gallery.
• Delete a chat message you sent, for everyone in the conversation.
• Delete saved searches, and education or career entries from your profile.
• Or hide your profile instead of deleting it: Pause profile (website) or Hide my profile (app) under Account. Your data is kept and you can resume any time.
